Practice Monologues for Actors from Published Plays

Monologue Blogger writes and shares monologues that come from our own catalogue of published play scripts. If you ever need more than a monologue, you can also immediately access the full play it comes from.

The stories on our site are published plays you won’t find anywhere else. Meaning, anything new we create will always be published on our website first.

We also work with Amazon as well as brick-and-mortar retail bookshops to showcase our print edition(s), but the bulk of our monologues, scenes, plays and screenplays are always archived and easily accessed for you right from our website.

BTW, if you need some guidance or a brush up on some monologue practice fundamentals, we invite you to read our guide, Performing Your Monologue.

Inside the guide we go over some basic monologue essentials, from finding, rehearsing and performing your monologue.

Monologues for Actors

Please keep in mind that you are free to use any of our monologues for auditions, acting class or online video uploads.

Practice monologues from plays may help you dive deeper into your character study and understanding of the story overall.

In addition to your chosen monologue, when you have a play that the monologue comes from, you will gain more insight into so many more elements for your acting choices.

If you are working with a drama teacher, there will be more analysis to digest and develop from, regarding character building, relationships, imaginary circumstances and so much more.
