Restitution of Land Rights Amendment Act, 2014 (No. 15 of 2014).

The Act amend the Restitution of Land Rights Act, 1994 in sections 6, 11, and 12 in respect o legal proceedings and in section 17 in respect of offences. It also, among other things, repeals sections 23, 26 and 26A and makes an amendment to section 42D with respect to delegation of powers.

An to amend the Restitution of Land Rights Act, 1994, so as to amend the cut-off date for lodging a claim for restitution; to further regulate the appointment, tenure of office, remuneration and the terms and conditions of service of judges of the Land Claims Court; to make further provision for the advertisement of claims; to create certain offences; to extend the Minister s powers of delegation; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
